Exciting Opportunity: Family Practice Physician (OB Experience Preferred)

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a patient load of approximately 16-18 patients daily using Cerner CommunityWorks EMR system.
- Perform a full range of procedures including OB deliveries, suturing, joint injections, pap smears, IUD insertions, Nexplanon, toenail removals, biopsies, colposcopies, and casting.
- Provide outpatient OB/GYN services, including prenatal care, and participate in OB call responsibilities at a 1:3 ratio.
- Collaborate with a team of MDs, DOs, and NPs to deliver comprehensive care across adult and women's health.
- Maintain current competence in obstetric procedures with demonstrated experience (minimum 10 deliveries in past 24 months; 30 cesarean sections completed).
Qualifications:
- Required Skills: Excellent clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, proficiency in outpatient procedures, ability to handle a diverse patient population, and adherence to compliance standards.
- Nice to Have Skills: Experience with women’s health beyond OB, surgical OB experience, familiarity with complex procedures.
- Preferred Education & Experience: MD or DO with valid Oregon license and DEA preferred; licensed or eligible to obtain licensure in Oregon.
- Other Requirements: ACLS, NRP certifications; active DEA; demonstrated competence in obstetrics; ability to perform a variety of procedures; willingness to participate in OB call rotation.
Additional Details:
- Start Date: May 18, 2026
- Schedule: Four 10-hour days (07:00 - 17:00) Monday through Friday, with OB call duties (1:3).
- Duration: 6 months to 1 year, with potential for extension.
- Credentialing: 3-6 months; complete references required; active license and DEA preferred.
- Travel & Support: Travel, lodging, and mileage reimbursements available as applicable.
- Pay Rate: $174.14/hour
