Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments for children and adolescents.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Document clinical encounters accurately and maintain patient records.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and adhere to clinical best practices.
Required Skills:
- Valid Massachusetts medical license.
- Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry with specialization in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Completion of CPI (Crisis Prevention and Intervention) training specific to children and adolescents.
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in inpatient or outpatient child/adolescent psychiatric settings.
- Bilingual abilities or multilingual skills.
- Familiarity with telepsychiatry platforms.
- Experience with electronic health records systems.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Prior experience in pediatric psychiatric practice or equivalent clinical exposure.
- Active license and certification in Massachusetts.
Other Requirements:
- Must possess or obtain CPI training certification specific to pediatric populations.
- Willingness to adhere to all ethical, legal, and organizational standards.
- Ability to participate in occasional on-call duties as required.
