Join Our Esteemed Department as an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician – Make a Difference in Women’s Healthcare

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN) Physician to join our reputable healthcare team. This critical role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive women’s health services, including obstetric and gynecologic care, in a supportive and state-of-the-art hospital environment. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes while working alongside a committed team of medical professionals.

Required Skills:

• Active North Carolina Medical License and NC DEA registration
• NC Medicaid Credential and enrollment with PECOS
• Board Certification or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Proven experience in delivering babies, including case logs from the past 24 months
• Ability to perform emergent GYN procedures and high-risk deliveries
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent patient communication skills
• Flexibility to participate in 24-hour on-call rotations for emergent deliveries and procedures
• No recent or open malpractice cases or disciplinary actions
• Full vaccination against COVID-19
• Current NPI number

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with hospitalist support teams
• Familiarity with high-risk maternal transfers
• Ability to work within hospital bylaws regarding proximity (within 20 mins of hospital)
• Experience with Level 1 nurseries and NICU transfers

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology, particularly in hospital settings with delivery volumes similar to the facility described

Other Requirements:

• Must be currently enrolled with PECOS and possess active NC Medicaid and Medicare enrollment
• Willingness to work on-call hours for emergent C-sections, vaginal deliveries, and GYN procedures
• Reliable transportation; travel expenses (mileage, rental car, airfare) capped at $500
• All candidates should submit case logs, malpractice history, disciplinary records, and be fully vaccinated
