We are seeking a full-time Neurosurgeon to join a hospital-based practice in McAllen/Edinburg, Texas. Schedule / Hours: Standard clinical and surgical hours with shared call coverage
Call: Shared call with other local neurosurgeons
Patient Volume: Busy neurosurgery practice with diverse case mix
Location: McAllen/Edinburg, Texas (Rio Grande Valley)
Practice Setting: Hospital-based neurosurgery group within South Texas Health System (STHS)
Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary team including neurosurgeons, APPs, and support staff
EMR / Technology: Cerner electronic medical record system

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive neurosurgical care including cranial and spinal procedures to adult and pediatric patients
Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff to deliver optimal outcomes
Manage inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical cases and shared call responsibilities
Document all patient care efficiently using Cerner EMR

Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
Active or eligible Texas medical license
Experience in cranial and spinal neurosurgery required
