About this role:
As a Radiation Oncology Physician, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.
You will practice at Montrose Regional Hospital – San Juan Cancer Center
Your hours will be Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm, 4 days onsite in clinic and 1 administrative day.
Call is 1:4 weeks
Great team dynamic! Stable, well-staffed clinic with 1:1 RN support, 3 radiation therapists, full-time physics and dosimetry onsite.
Montrose uses Varian hardware and software. TrueBeam LINAC, Eclipse treatment planning system and Mosaiq EMR/R&V system.
Established relationships with our community partners: medical oncologists, general surgeons, pulmonology, and urology. Regular community tumor boards with robust multidisciplinary participation.
Excellent opportunity for mentorship: 3 radiation oncology colleagues at sister hospital, St. Mary’s in Grand Junction with shared chart rounds.
Potential leadership roles: option for medical directorship and other hospital leadership.
What we provide:
Competitive Compensation: $595,000 plus the potential to earn more with a production incentive.?
Incentives: $30,000 starting bonus, up to $20,000 relocation bonus (if applicable)?and student loan assistance of $75,000.00 (if applicable).

What you’ll bring:
MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
ACGME Residency or Fellowship training in Radiation Oncology
Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline
Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one
Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one
A minimum of 1 year of Radiation Oncology experience preferred
Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
