Practice Setting
- Join 2 OB/GYNs, 1 Nurse Practitioner, and 1 Certified Nurse Midwife
- Level II Nursery
- Advanced Women’s Center featuring:
- State-of-the-art Labor, Delivery & Recovery (LDR) suites
- Private postpartum suites
- On-site surgical team
- 24-hour anesthesia support
- Collaborative care model with CNMs, pediatricians, and advanced practice providers
Schedule
- Clinic Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Dedicated OR Block Time: Monday & Friday, 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Shared call model supported by CNM
This structure allows for both surgical consistency and balanced call coverage.

Position Overview
As an OB/GYN at MDH, you will provide full-spectrum women’s healthcare services, including:
- Annual wellness exams and preventive screenings
- Diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic conditions and infections
- Contraceptive counseling and fertility guidance
- Prenatal and postnatal care
- Labor and delivery services
- Gynecologic surgical procedures
- Evaluation, treatment, referral, or admission of patients as clinically appropriate
You will collaborate closely with clinic staff, MDH medical staff, and hospital leadership to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care.
Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school
- Completion of OB/GYN residency training (minimum five years surgical training)
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Eligible for unrestricted Illinois medical license
- Current DEA registration
- ACLS certification
- CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (required within 6 months if not current)
- Proof of approved Fetal Monitoring Course attendance every 2 years
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
