Required Skills
- Board Certified in Electrophysiology (BC)
- State medical license in Tennessee
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency with EMR systems, especially Epic
- Certification in BLS and ACLS
- DEA license or exemption if non-prescribing
- Ability to perform implantable device procedures, ablations, ILRs, and Cardioversions
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with CARTO and Abbott mapping systems
- Prior work in hospital-based electrophysiology services
- Familiarity with advanced electrophysiology procedures and technologies
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience
- Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO)
- Advanced training in Electrophysiology
- At least two years of post-residency experience in a comparable clinical environment
Other Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain licensure and credentialing in Tennessee within 60-90 days
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including inpatient shifts and weekend call
- Must meet vaccination requirements: MMR, Varicella, Flu (during flu season), and TB testing as specified
- Ability to support hospital-based inpatient services and device implant procedures
- This role involves travel reimbursements for flights and mileage or rental car expenses
Work Schedule and Compensation
- Hourly Rate: $429.00 (Weekdays, 7am-6pm)
- Night Call: $600 flat fee (Monday-Thursday, 6p-7a)
- Weekend Call: $600/hr for 6 hours/day, with callback rate of $750/hr if called back
- Shift: Day 5x11-hour shifts (07:00 - 18:00), plus weekend and call duties
- Supported by a dedicated staff including an Electrophysiology APP
