Job Title: Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN) Physician – Locum Coverage

Overview:

Required Skills:

• Active Operating Room (OR) license and DEA certification
• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Ability to respond within 15 minutes during call shifts
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
• Proven experience in obstetric and gynecological care

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with unplanned C-sections and emergency obstetric procedures
• Prior work in hospital settings with labor and delivery units
• Familiarity with community OB practices and collaboration with Family Medicine OB providers
• Ability to assist with C-sections as needed by the team

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• At least 3 years of post-residency OB-GYN practice in hospital environments
• Previous locum or temporary practice experience is advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work up to 8 call shifts per month, including weekends (some high-priority weekends specified)
• Shifts available: 7 am Thursday to 7 am Monday or 7 am Friday to 7 am Tuesday, flexible to match coverage needs
• Coverage includes after-hours clinic call, inpatient OB, and GYN ED call
• Privileging process estimated to take approximately 90 days; start date contingent upon approval and credentialing
• Travel and licensure reimbursements when applicable
