UT Southwestern’s Regional Cancer Center network delivers university-level cancer care across North Texas, with sites in Fort Worth, Frisco, and Richardson. Physicians provide advanced oncologic care close to home while remaining fully integrated into the academic enterprise, supported by modern facilities with on-site infusion, laboratory services, oncology pharmacy, multidisciplinary support staff, and Epic/Beacon EMR with remote access.

Job Summary  

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW), Division of Hematology & Oncology, is seeking to recruit five outstanding faculty members to join our expanding Regional Cancer Center network across North Texas.

These positions reflect strategic growth across both new and established regional sites, including:

  • 1 Immediate Opening – Moncrief Cancer Center (Fort Worth)
  • 2 New Positions – Frisco (New Site Growth)
  • 1 New Position – Richardson (Established Site)
  • 1 New Position – Clearfork, Fort Worth (New Site)

We are looking for vibrant, patient-centered physicians who are passionate about delivering outstanding and compassionate cancer care while helping expand UT Southwestern’s regional impact through cutting edge care and access to clinical trials.

Position Highlights

  • Approximately 4 days per week in clinic with a primary focus on direct patient care
  • Shared call schedule among Hematology & Oncology faculty
  • Participation in inpatient consult rotations at the Dallas campus
  • Teaching opportunities with fellows, residents, and medical students
  • Enroll and manage patients on clinical trials
  • Collaborate closely with academic colleagues at the UTSW Dallas campus
  • Help expand access to clinical trials across regional sites
  • Supported by dedicated, full-time research coordinators at each regional location

Qualifications

  • M.D. degree from an approved LCME medical school
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Hematology & Oncology fellowship
  • Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in both Hematology and Medical Oncology
  • Eligible for Texas medical licensure
  • Commitment to enrolling patients in clinical trials (experience preferred but not required)
  • Strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
