Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Anesthesiologist to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia care across a broad range of surgical cases (excluding cardiac anesthesia, which is covered by our dedicated team).
  • Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, and other perioperative staff to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care.
  • Cover all general anesthesiology needs without restriction to specific service lines.
  • Participate in call responsibilities as part of a fair and balanced rotation.
  • Contribute to a positive culture, aligning with the department’s emphasis on teamwork, patient safety, and efficiency.

Candidate Profile

  • MD/DO degree with successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
  • Generalist skillset: no subspecialty focus required, though flexibility in areas like pain management may be considered.
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, and committed to delivering excellent patient care.
  • Willingness to engage in a collegial, supportive environment and help drive alignment across the anesthesia group.
