Ellicott City Primary Care is a premier, physician-led private practice that has served the Marriottsville and Ellicott City communities for over 20 years. We are currently embarking on an exciting new chapter, having moved into a fully renovated, state-of-the-art facility in February 2026.

This is a rare opportunity to join a sophisticated, tight-knit team that manages generations of local families. Due to our strong clinical reputation, we are currently turning away new patients, ensuring that any incoming physician will have a robust and immediate patient base.

The Opportunity

• Patient-Centric Scope: Provide comprehensive primary care (ages 18+) ranging from acute visits to chronic disease management for a diverse patient mix, including young professionals and complex geriatric cases.
• Immediate Volume: The incoming physician will be busy from Day 1; we are currently booked out 2–3 months, ensuring a rapid ramp-up.
• Team Support: You will be paired with a dedicated Medical Assistant to handle rooming, histories, and inbox management, allowing you to focus purely on the patient.
• Modern Environment: Benefit from a sophisticated EMR (Athena) with optimized templates to ensure charts are completed within 48 hours.

Schedule & Balance

• Elite Clinical Hours: Experience a unique schedule with a 3:30 PM finish Monday through Thursday, and a 1:00 PM finish every Friday.
• Paid for 40, Work 37.5: While the clinical week is 37.5 hours, you are compensated for a full 40-hour week.
• Call Schedule: A light 1:3 rotation with an average of zero calls per night, providing true evening peace of mind.
• Patient Volume: A manageable average of 18–22 patients per day, with 30-minute slots for new patients and annual wellness visits.

Qualifications

• Credential: MD or DO with Board Certification/Eligibility in Internal Medicine.
• Experience: We prefer experienced clinicians but are open to high-caliber New Graduates who possess a deep commitment to high-quality longitudinal care.
• Values: We seek a physician looking to become a long-term fixture in our community—someone who values clinical excellence and professional efficiency.

Compensation & Premier Benefits

• Financial Security: $220k – $230k guaranteed draw for the first year.
• Earnings Upside: Transition to a productivity-based model in Year 2 with $230k+ proven potential and ACO quality bonuses.
• Long-Term Growth: Clear trajectory for professional advancement, including Partnership and future Ownership opportunities (open for discussion after Year 3).
