Lead Family Medicine Physician - Inpatient Focus

The MetroHealth System is seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician with expertise in inpatient and outpatient care to lead our Family Medicine inpatient team and oversee the inpatient service.

Position Highlights:

  • Provide clinical oversight for FM inpatients.
  • Collaborate with the Program Director to ensure our inpatient training meets ACGME requirements.
  • Serve as the liaison to the hospitalist division.
  • Work closely with residency leadership, OB faculty, and clinical teams to optimize processes, and drive performance improvement.
  • Uphold MetroHealth’s mission, vision, and values in all aspects of care and education.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO with a non-restricted Ohio medical license.
  • Board-certified in Family Medicine.
  • Minimum of 2 years post-residency
  • Strong skills in POCUS, inpatient clinic care, and teaching residents and medical students.
  • Ability to meet MetroHealth credentialing and privileging requirements.
