General Orthopedic Physician Opportunity – Deaconess Clinic

Primary Responsibilities

General Orthopedic Duties

• Operate an outpatient clinic designed to accommodate an increased volume of referral patients.
• Provide coverage for inpatient orthopedic care.
• Maintain a minimum of 36 hours per week of direct patient contact, along with 4 hours per week dedicated to administrative tasks.

Position Highlights

• Full-time position (40 hours per week)

• Guaranteed salary of $800,000 for the first 12 months

• $50,000 sign-on bonus with a 5-year contract

• Competitive productivity-based compensation after year one

• Additional quality bonus opportunity once productivity threshold is met

• Many physicians in our specialty programs exceed their initial guarantee

• J- 1 acceptable 

Practice Details

• General Orthopedics (1.0 FTE)

• Inpatient coverage: Approximately 7 days per month

• Call coverage: 1:4

• Fully implemented Epic EMR for both inpatient and outpatient care
