Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (note: this is listed for internal purposes; actual salary discussed upon application)

What You’ll Do:

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the Hematology/Oncology division.
• Serve as Associate Medical Director for the Cancer Service Line, guiding systemwide cancer care strategies.
• Lead and mentor a team of more than 40 physicians, supporting academic development and research initiatives.
• Oversee clinical programs, research, and academic growth within hematology and oncology services.
• Collaborate with hospital and academic partners to expand oncology services and clinical trials.
• Maintain clinical practice (~25%) providing direct patient care.
• Support multidisciplinary collaboration and innovative care models across multiple hospital sites.
• Engage in faculty development, graduate medical education, and fellowship programs.

What You Need:

• MD or DO with completed Hematology/Oncology fellowship
• Michigan medical license or eligibility
• Minimum of 5+ years’ leadership experience in an academic or large health system setting
• Board Certified/Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
• Proven experience in overseeing faculty, clinical, and research operations
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
