Academic OB Hospitalist Opportunity in Greenville, NC

ECU Health Physicians and The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine are seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified OBGYN to work as an OB Hospitalist. The successful candidate will provide labor and delivery care at ECU Health Medical Center located in Greenville, North Carolina. New graduates and Visa candidates are welcome to apply.

Opportunity Highlights include:

  • Growing 9-hospital physician-led healthcare system
  • Hospital privileges at ECU Health Medical Center
  • Established department inclusive of 11 OB-GYNs in the General OBGYN Division, 4 Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists, 1 Reproductive Endocrinologist, 1 Gynecologic Oncologist, 1 Urogynecologist, and 6 Certified Nurse Midwives
  • Support from a state-of-the-art children’s hospital offering 20 pediatric sub-specialties and Level IV NICU
  • Onsite advanced practice provider support
  • Schedule requirements will include (7) 24-hour shifts or (14) 12-hour shifts per block
  • Clinical volumes average 4,100 deliveries a year and 350 maternal transports annually
  • EPIC EMR

The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University

The Brody School of Medicine has trained physicians for more than 50 years as the only allopathic medical school in North Carolina’s Atlantic Coastal Plain. The school’s mission is to increase the supply of primary care physicians to meet the state’s medical needs, especially in the east. It is consistently recognized as a Tier 1 institution for primary care and family medicine by U.S. News & World Report.
