Make an IMPACT… Piedmont Physician Network is seeking an Interventional Pain Management Specialist to join a thriving and growing practice.

 Job Responsibilities 

• Monday – Friday
• NO CALL
• No nights or weekends or holidays
• Outpatient practice
• Hospital employed
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose pain conditions
• Create and discuss a pain management treatment plan with patients
• Educate patients on pain management and lifestyle changes
• Treat patients by employing interventional techniques such as injections and/or other devices
• Prescribe medications, if applicable

Required Skills  

• Strong knowledge of pain mechanisms and pharmacology
• Proficient in interventional pain procedures, joint injections, nerve blocks, and epidural injections
• Patience and compassion, with the ability to empathize with patients in pain
• Passionate about pain management and dedicated to providing high-quality and safe patient care

Qualifications

• Board certification or Board Eligible in Pain Management
• Dual board certification – Pain Management and Anesthesia (preferred)
• Experience with a wide range of pain management practices (preferred)

Those who require around-the-clock, complex or very specialized critical care will be admitted to our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for exceptionally skilled and patient-centered treatment.
• Med/Surg Unit: Providing quality care for patients who are recovering from accidents, surgery and a variety of illnesses is the goal of the 76-bed, fully staffed Medical/Surgical Unit.
