The Department of Pathology, Division of Pediatric Pathology at the Medical College of Wisconsin and Children’s Wisconsin, seeks a board-certified/board-eligible Pediatric Anatomical Pathology physician to join our team, providing outstanding patient care and contributions to research, education and clinical innovation. We are composed of a nationally and internationally renowned, dedicated group of faculty and staff with a strong commitment to clinical care.
Position Highlights
• Join a collaborative team of pediatric pathologists & laboratory specialists that handles over 6,500 surgical pathology and cytopathology specimens annually.
• Experience a diverse case mix in pediatric pathology, including solid tumor pathology, hematopathology, flow cytometry, vascular malformations and perinatal/placental pathology with shared call and autopsy coverage.
• Teach and mentor AP/CP residents and pediatric pathology & other pediatric specialty fellows.
• Thrive in a pediatric-centered environment with the multisite Children’s Wisconsin Laboratories, which perform over one million tests annually.
• Participate in clinical, translational or basic science research with protected time to advance your work.

Position Requirements
• Medical/doctoral degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Unrestricted State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state of Wisconsin

Children’s Wisconsin is a 309-bed hospital dedicated solely to the care of children and is one of the top-ranked pediatric hospitals in the country. It offers a Level I trauma center, a Level I surgery center, a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and a 68-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. It is the primary pediatric hospital for all of the children of Southeast Wisconsin and the main referral center for children living in much of Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. The hospital also receives patients from across the country and around the world for specific subspecialty care.

The Research Institute brings together researchers and clinicians from multiple disciplines throughout Southeastern Wisconsin, including life sciences, medicine, psychology, nursing, engineering and epidemiology to investigate and bring research to bear on clinical practice.
Children’s Specialty Group
Children’s Specialty Group is the pediatric specialty group established in 2000 as a joint venture between Children’s Wisconsin and MCW. Children’s Specialty Group includes nearly 450 child-focused physicians and more than 220 pediatric advanced practice providers. All physicians have faculty appointments with MCW.
