Staff Neurologist – Outpatient

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Practice: 100% Outpatient | No Call | No Weekends
Position Highlights
- Perform outpatient neurological evaluations and follow-up care for new and established patients
- Diagnose and manage common neurological conditions including migraines, epilepsy, neuropathy, and neurovascular disorders
- Order and interpret EEG, EMG/NCS, labs, and imaging
- Perform neurologic procedures as credentialed (e.g., Botox, lumbar puncture, EMG/NCS, EEG interpretation)
- Provide patient education and shared decision-making
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary VA clinical teams
- Document care in VA electronic health record systems (training provided)
Practice Environment
- Dedicated outpatient clinic at the Harlingen VA Health Care Center
- Average patient volume of approximately 5–10 patients per day
