Aptive Resources is seeking a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a respected federal healthcare system in Texas serving our nation’s Veterans. This is an excellent opportunity for physicians seeking a balance of procedural work, outpatient care, and meaningful service in a highly structured, supportive clinical environment.

Position Highlights

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
• No call, no weekends
• Patient Volume: 5–10 patients per day (subject to change)

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology care
• Diagnose and manage GI conditions, with a focus on hepatitis care
• Develop and implement diagnostic and therapeutic care plans
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care and provide patient/family education
• Participate in clinical, educational, and research activities, as appropriate

Procedural Experience

• EGD, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy
• Polypectomy, PEG placement, small bowel and liver biopsy
• Esophageal dilation, motility studies, band ligation, sclerotherapy
• Stent placement, laser therapies, and treatment of GI bleeding
