Presbyterian Medical Group is seeking a Board Eligible / Board Certified OB/GYN Physician to join our established and collaborative team at Lincoln County Medical Center (LCMC) in Ruidoso, New Mexico. This is an opportunity to build lasting patient relationships, practice broad-spectrum OB/GYN care, and enjoy the pace and beauty of mountain living.

At LCMC, you’ll be part of a close-knit team delivering essential women’s health services to a rural community that truly values its physicians.

Practice highlights include:

  • Approximately 15–20 deliveries per month
  • Weekly mix of clinic and OR time, with 10–12 OR cases per week
  • 1:3 call, 24-hour shifts
  • Supportive, team-based culture focused on high-quality, patient-centered care

What We’re Seeking:

We’re looking for a physician who is passionate about women’s health and values collaboration and community connection.

Qualifications include:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care
  • Interest in growing a community-based practice
  • Ability to obtain a New Mexico medical license

  • Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)
    Presbyterian Healthcare Services is a not-for-profit organization, and many physician roles may qualify for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program.
    Eligibility and loan forgiveness determinations are made solely by the federal program.
  • National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program
    Physicians practicing at eligible sites may qualify for federal student loan repayment through the NHSC program, offering up to $75,000 in tax free loan repayment for a two year service commitment at an approved site in a designated shortage area.
    Participation is competitive and subject to federal approval and funding availability.
  • New Mexico Physician Tax Credit
    Eligible physicians practicing in New Mexico may be eligible for a state income tax credit of up to $10,000 per year, based on program requirements. Eligibility and certification are determined by the State of New Mexico.
  • New Mexico Health Professional Loan Repayment Program
    Physicians practicing in designated shortage areas may be eligible for state funded student loan repayment, offering up to $75,000 per year in loan assistance with a required service commitment. Participation is competitive and subject to state approval and funding availability.
  • New Mexico Opportunity Scholarship
    New Mexico residents may be eligible for the Opportunity Scholarship, which can cover up to 100% of tuition and required fees for those pursuing a certificate, associate, or bachelor’s degree at a New Mexico public college or university.
    The program is available to both recent graduates and returning adult learners who meet eligibility requirements. Eligibility and award amounts are determined by the State of New Mexico and participating institutions.
  • Retirement Benefits
    403(b) retirement savings program with employer contributions and matching opportunities.
