Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a BE/BC OBGYN to join our established team in Ruidoso, New Mexico. We’re all about well-being, starting with yours.  We offer a nationally competitive salary with relocation allowance available, CME allowance and fully paid malpractice insurance.

Practice Highlights:

  • 15-20 deliveries per month
  • Weekly mix of clinic and OR time (10-12 OR cases per week)
  • 1:3 call, 24 hr shifts

What We’re Seeking:

  • Must be BC/BE in OB/GYN
  • Outstanding patient care qualities, highly motivated with an interest to grow their practice
  • Patient-focused and willing to collaborate and work in a team environment
  • Ability to obtain a medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico

  • Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)
    Presbyterian Healthcare Services is a not-for-profit organization, and many physician roles may qualify for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program.
    Eligibility and loan forgiveness determinations are made solely by the federal program.
  • National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program
    Physicians practicing at eligible sites may qualify for federal student loan repayment through the NHSC program, offering up to $75,000 in tax free loan repayment for a two year service commitment at an approved site in a designated shortage area.
    Participation is competitive and subject to federal approval and funding availability.
  • New Mexico Physician Tax Credit
    Eligible physicians practicing in New Mexico may be eligible for a state income tax credit of up to $10,000 per year, based on program requirements. Eligibility and certification are determined by the State of New Mexico.
  • New Mexico Health Professional Loan Repayment Program
    Physicians practicing in designated shortage areas may be eligible for state funded student loan repayment, offering up to $75,000 per year in loan assistance with a required service commitment. Participation is competitive and subject to state approval and funding availability.
  • New Mexico Opportunity Scholarship
    New Mexico residents may be eligible for the Opportunity Scholarship, which can cover up to 100% of tuition and required fees for those pursuing a certificate, associate, or bachelor’s degree at a New Mexico public college or university.
    The program is available to both recent graduates and returning adult learners who meet eligibility requirements. Eligibility and award amounts are determined by the State of New Mexico and participating institutions.
  • Retirement Benefits

Lincoln County Medical Center (LCMC) is a 25 bed, Critical Access Hospital located in Ruidoso, New Mexico providing general and acute healthcare services to the primary services areas of Lincoln and portions Otero County, including the Mescalero Apache Reservation. LCMC operates medical clinics in Ruidoso, Hondo, Carrizozo, Capitan and Corona and a sliding scale dental clinic in Carrizozo to increase access to healthcare for all of Lincoln County. LCMC offers specialty services often not found in a frontier environment, including obstetrical, cardiology, orthopedic and general surgery services. LCMC recently expanded its services to include hematology and oncology, to reduce our residents need to travel for these services. LCMC manages the operations of Lincoln County Emergency Medical Services (LCEMS), which provides emergency medical services for over 5,000 square miles throughout Lincoln County.
