7 on, 7 off Hospitalist Needed in Rural, Lakeside Community
Avera Medical Group in Spencer, Iowa is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine trained physician to join the hospitalist team at Spencer Hospital.
OPPORTUNITY:
- Employed position with Avera
- Market area 30,000 population
- Spencer Hospital – 99 bed facility, community-owned
- 49 acute care beds
- 15 behavioral health bed unit
- Rotating schedule of 7 days on, 7 off.
- Shift starts on Monday at 7am and ends the following Monday at 7am.
- Two call shifts 7pm to 7am required during the week that the hospitalist is scheduled, with one occurring during the week and one on the weekend.
- Partnership with eHospitalist team for backup coverage
