Position Summary

St. Bernards Healthcare is seeking a BC/BE Hematologist/Oncologist to join our established oncology program serving Mississippi County and Cross County, Arkansas. This role offers a predictable schedule, strong infrastructure, and immediate patient volume in well-supported rural clinics.

Practice Highlights

  • Rural outreach model:
    • 3 days/week – Mississippi County clinic
    • 2 days/week – Cross County clinic
  • Outpatient-focused practice On-site infusion centers at both locations On-site pharmacy services supporting chemotherapy and medications Dedicated APP support:
  • 9 APPs based in the Jonesboro cancer program
  • 2 additional APPs hired specifically to support this position (1 per clinic)
  • Hospitalists manage all inpatient care Teleconsultation support available as needed

 

Clinical Support & Infrastructure

  • Fully operational infusion centers at each clinic
  • On-site pharmacy for chemo preparation and medication management
  • Strong APP and nursing support across the system
  • Hospitalist coverage for inpatient needs
