Opportunity Details

Brown University Health has an opening for a board certified or eligible internal medicine or family medicine physician to join our community-based hospitalist group in Newport, RI as a nocturnist. Newport Hospital is a 129-bed hospital located within walking distance to the beach and serves a diverse community 40 minutes south of Providence.
 
About the job:

  • Position can be full or part time
  • Block schedule 5/5 or 7/7
  • EMR is EPIC
  • Open ICU and ability to intubate and place central lines is required, training is available to refresh skills
  • Shifts are 8p-8a
  • Admissions and cross cover as well as responding to codes
  • Teleintensivist ICU support on night shift
  • Overlap with another hospitalist until midnight, solo coverage 12a-8a
