Hiring for several REMOTE Medical Director Positions – Must be Licensed in North Carolina!

Access TeleCare is looking for several TELE board-certified trained Psychiatrists that are licensed in North Carolina to provide high-acuity, inpatient behavioral health care through an advanced telemedicine platform for our hospital partners. We have several Medical Director positions available that we would love the opportunity to speak with you further!

Requirements:

• Board-certified Psychiatrist (MD or DO)
• Provider MUST be licensed in North Carolina
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience

 Job Descriptions:

 Telepsychiatry Medical Director Position #1:

• Tele Medical Director for a 116-bed unit. Interdisciplinary Teams (IDT) and 2nd exams for involuntary admissions.
• Supervision and collab of NPs; Facility meetings as scheduled.
• Estimated Hours: 20 hours per week
• Compensation: $12,000 per month. (Annual Salary: $144,000 + $40 per wRVU for 2nd exams)

Telepsychiatry Medical Director Position #2:

• Tele Medical Director for 2 NC facilities. Interdisciplinary Teams (IDT) and 2nd exams.
• Supervision and collab of NPs
• Estimated Hours: 10 hours per week
• Compensation: $8,000 per month for 2 facilities (10 hours per week)
  • $5,000 sign on bonus. Additional comp for 2nd exams. $41 per wRVU for clinical encounters. Can also include ED/CL work if interested.

Telepsychiatry Medical Director Position #3:

• Tele Medical Director - Treatment team Monday-Friday 8am EST
• Supervision and collab of our NPs and the hospitals NP/PA. Cosigning in Paragon, Signing off on orders, 2nd exams for involuntary holds. Availably 24/7 to NPs and facility for questions
• Estimated Hours: 12 hours per week
• Compensation: $4,000 per month; $50 per 2nd exam
  • *Could combine this position with Positions #3 or #4

Telepsychiatry Medical Director Position #4:

• Tele Medical Director for a 28-bed unit. Interdisciplinary Teams (IDT 3x/week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 8-9am EST)
• Supervision and collab of NPs/PAs. 24 is target ADC. Medical Director must complete second exam on all involuntary patients (10-15 per month on avg./still learning).
• Compensation: $3,000 per month pro-rated for partial periods + $50 for second exam (10-12 per month)

 Telepsychiatry Medical Director Position #5:

• Medical Director for 30-bed unit. Treatment team Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10am EST
• Supervision and collab of our NPs and their NP/PA. Cosigning in MediTech, Signing off on orders, 2nd exams for involuntary holds (26 so far this month). Availably 24/7 to NPs and facility for questions.
• Estimated Hours: 8 hours per week
• Compensation: $4,500 + $50 per second exam (26 per month)
