The Department of Neurology at the University of Virginia seeks applicants for a tenure-eligible or tenured faculty position for its Memory Disorder Program. The incumbent will devote a majority of effort to clinical responsibilities in the cognitive and behavioral neurologic clinic, anti-amyloid therapy program, memory and aging care clinic, and associated teaching activities. The incumbent will also dedicate effort to contributing to, and expanding, an active clinical trials research program in dementia. Applicants with an interest in establishing, or demonstrated ability sustaining, an effective extramurally funded, the independent research program will also be strongly considered. Rank and tenure status are dependent on qualifications, experience, and scholarly achievement.

Qualifications

Candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD, DO or other equivalent terminal degree, and be board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology at the time of hire. Specialized fellowship training in a related field is strongly preferred. Evidence of academic productivity is highly valued.
