RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, in partnership with Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, is seeking an accomplished Associate Professor of Surgery – Section Chief of Transplant Surgery to lead and expand a comprehensive abdominal organ transplant program.
This leadership opportunity offers the chance to build and grow a high-impact transplant service within an academic medical center, delivering advanced, multidisciplinary care in collaboration with Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. This role will function as a Transplant Surgeon while serving as Section Chief, driving clinical excellence, innovation, and programmatic growth.
Position Overview
The Section Chief of Transplant Surgery will provide strategic and clinical leadership for the transplant program, overseeing all aspects of patient care, operations, and academic advancement.
