Job Description

Excellent opportunity for an Orthopedic Surgeon interested and experienced in joint surgery to join Baptist Health Orthopedics in Birmingham, Alabama. 

Highlights:

  • Desire and ability to perform joint replacement surgeries and capable of managing emergency/trauma orthopedic conditions in ER
  • Surgeries performed at Princeton Hospital
  • Anticipate weekly schedule of 3 days in the clinic and 2 days in surgery
  • Average of 20 patients per day/per physician seen in the clinic and 8-10 inpatient 
  • Inpatient and Outpatient therapy services available including PT, OT and SP.  Princeton Hospital has a Joint Camp and a dedicated Orthopedic/Surgical floor; 18 state of the art ORs with several suites dedicated to orthopedic and spine work
  • Robotic orthopedic surgery systems available – ROSA System currently at campus 

Candidate Requirements:

  • MD or DO degree required
  • BE/BC in orthopedic surgery
  • Alabama licensed or eligible to obtain licensure in the State of Alabama
