EmPATH (Crisis Stabilization) Unit
- 7 on / 7 off schedule
- 6-chair EmPATH unit
- 8-hours of coverage per day
- No call
- Consult to the ED, SNF, and general IPU patients with concurrent behavioral health needs
- An average of 2 consults/week at the SNF (range 1-3)
- EmpPATH unit is located adjacent to the ED within the hospital
- Patients will be medically cleared before going to the EmPATH unit
- EMR – EPIC and SmartCare
- 24/7 staffing by caregivers specifically trained to treat psychiatric emergencies, and soothing music and artwork to help calm patient

TBH changed the landscape of inpatient psychiatry when we introduced the hospitalist shift model, allowing our doctors to earn a full-time salary and benefits in as little as 9.5 days per month. TBH also offers hybrid telepsychiatry positions, with options to work from home three weeks a month and be on-site one week per month. In addition, having a broad and diverse set of customers allows TBH to provide flexibility, helping you balance life’s evolving priorities throughout your career.
