Practice Nephrology in One of Utah’s Most Scenic and Lifestyle-Friendly Regions

Nephrology Associates of Utah (NAU North) is seeking a Board Certified nephrologist to join its established team serving Layton, Ogden, and Pleasant View, Utah. This is an excellent opportunity to step into an existing patient panel within a collaborative, physician-led practice that offers strong clinical support, manageable call responsibilities, and exceptional work-life balance.

Position Highlights

• Full-time general nephrology opportunity replacing an existing physician
• Balanced mix of:
  • CKD management
  • Dialysis care (including growing home dialysis program)
  • Hospital rounding
• Hospital service every other week with a consistently low census (4–8 patients average)
• Dialysis responsibilities average only 2–3 days per month
• Coordinated clinic schedule allowing focused inpatient coverage during hospital weeks
• Collaborative small-practice environment with 2 physicians and 2 experienced NPs

Hospital Coverage & Call

• Coverage at:
  • Ogden Regional Medical Center
  • McKay Dee Hospital
• Hospital call every other week
• Infrequent night call supporting long-term schedule sustainability

Advanced Practice & Care Support

• Two experienced nurse practitioners supporting dialysis and CKD care
• Dedicated renal care coordinators for standard and value-based care patients
• Strong ancillary support including dialysis social workers and dietitians
• Emphasis on coordinated care, transplant referral, and optimal dialysis starts
