Burlington Practice Model

Close-Knit Team with Dedicated Surgical Time & 4-Day Work Week

Cone Health’s Burlington practice offers a highly supportive team environment with excellent clinical collaboration, dedicated procedural time, and a practice structure intentionally designed around physician autonomy, efficiency, and work-life balance.

Alamance Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is a 238-bed full-service community hospital within the Cone Health system serving a fast-growing market of more than 250,000 residents. The hospital features a Level II nursery with immediate access to a Level III nursery within the health system located just 18 miles away. With more than 1,000 deliveries in 2025, physicians benefit from a strong and growing patient base along with exceptional specialty support.

The practice environment is highly collegial across Labor & Delivery, postpartum, and the OR with a cooperative, non-competitive working relationship among local OB/GYN practices. Physicians have access to dedicated OR block time, full laparoscopy capabilities, and 3 dedicated da Vinci robotic surgery suites.

Duke University and UNC Health are both located less than 40 minutes away, providing additional tertiary and academic support resources.
