Assistant Professor of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin is seeking Assistant Professors of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry to join a nationally recognized academic program dedicated to advancing behavioral healthcare, physician education, and innovative models of care.

These faculty opportunities offer the ability to practice within a collaborative academic environment while helping address the growing demand for pediatric behavioral health services throughout Texas. Physicians will work alongside multidisciplinary teams at Dell Children's Medical Center while contributing to the education and mentorship of future psychiatrists through engagement with fellows, residents, and medical students.

As an Assistant Professor, you will have the opportunity to contribute to clinical care, education, scholarly activity, and academic medicine within a collaborative faculty environment.

Candidate Qualifications

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified in General Psychiatry and Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, with a commitment to become board certified within two years of fellowship graduation
  • New graduates and current fellows are encouraged to apply
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Texas
  • All positions require an on-site clinical presence in Austin, Texas
