Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
Multiple Openings | Academic Medical Center | Full-time | Austin, Texas | U.S. News Top-Ranked 2025-26
OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW
Dell Children's Medical Center has earned national recognition as one of the country's best specialty programs for Pediatric and Adolescent Behavioral Health by U.S. News & World Report (2025-26) — and this team is growing.
Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin is recruiting for six faculty-level child and adolescent psychiatrists to join a mission-driven academic practice addressing one of the most significant unmet needs in the state. Texas is home to fewer than half the national average of psychiatrists per capita, and the demand for skilled CAP faculty in Austin has never been greater.
These positions are embedded in a robust academic ecosystem — with direct access to CAP fellows, residents, and medical students — while remaining grounded in real-world, high-volume clinical care at the region's only pediatric Level 1 Trauma Center.
