Opportunity Criteria
Southern Alliance Radiology (SOAR) is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiologist to join its established, physician-led team supporting the Piedmont Health System in Columbus, Georgia. This is a true IR-forward opportunity with strong procedural volume, equitable call, and a fast partnership track.
Job Highlights
- 75% Interventional / 25% Diagnostic
- No Diagnostic Call Required
- IR + Stroke Call (stipended), shared equitably
- 12 weeks PTO
- 1-year partnership track
- Salary: $500,000–$750,000 + bonus
- H-1B visa sponsorship available
- Optional stroke thrombectomy training provided
Clinical Practice
- Broad, complex IR case mix including:
- TIPS
- Hepatobiliary interventions
- Interventional oncology
- Thrombectomy procedures
- No PAD currently in scope
- Strong referral base and institutional commitment to IR growth
- Opportunity to help shape and expand the IR program
Call & Schedule
- Predictable, shared IR call structure
- Stroke call includes additional stipend compensation
- Designed for balance, consistency, and sustainability

Qualifications
- IR Fellowship or IR/DR training pathway
- ABR or AOBR Board Eligible/Certified
- Eligible for Georgia medical licensure
- CAQ preferred (not required)
