What You’ll Do
  • Provide direct medical care for hospitalized patients, including admissions, daily rounding, and discharges
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care
  • Collaborate closely with specialists, primary care providers, nursing, respiratory therapy, Emergency Medicine physicians, and ancillary services
  • Coordinate care plans and support smooth transitions of care
  • Order, interpret, and act on laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies
  • Document patient encounters, care plans, and outcomes in the EMR; respond to medical emergencies and rapid response situations
What You Need
Required
  • MD or DO
  • Ability to provide inpatient hospital medicine care (credentials/eligibility will be required)

Preferred
  • Experience managing acute and chronic inpatient conditions in a hospital setting
  • Comfort working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and handling inpatient emergencies/rapid response situations
  • Experience with documentation in an EMR environment
