  • Shift: Flexibly scheduled outpatient clinic (approx. 24 hours/week)
  • Hours/week: ~24 hours

  • License/Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oncology Medical Oncology preferred
  • Experience: Prior oncology practice experience preferred, but all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply

What You’ll Do
  • Diagnose and stage various cancers through clinical assessments, imaging, and labs
  • Develop personalized treatment plans including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation, and targeted therapies
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatments as needed
  • Manage side effects and provide supportive care to improve quality of life
  • Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including surgeons, radiologists, nurses, and navigators
  • Participate in clinical trials, research efforts, and quality improvement projects
  • Stay current with the latest oncology guidelines and advancements
  • Mentor and guide other healthcare providers in oncology practices

What You Need
Required
  • Medical license eligible for Vermont or relevant state licenses
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oncology (Medical Oncology preferred)
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills

Preferred
  • Prior experience in outpatient oncology settings
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
