What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and stage various cancers through clinical assessments, imaging, and labs
- Develop personalized treatment plans including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation, and targeted therapies
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatments as needed
- Manage side effects and provide supportive care to improve quality of life
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and outcomes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including surgeons, radiologists, nurses, and navigators
- Participate in clinical trials, research efforts, and quality improvement projects
- Stay current with the latest oncology guidelines and advancements
- Mentor and guide other healthcare providers in oncology practices
What You Need
Required
- Medical license eligible for Vermont or relevant state licenses
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oncology (Medical Oncology preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Preferred
- Prior experience in outpatient oncology settings
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
