Englewood Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join our long standing orthopedic practice – Englewood Orthopedic Associates, at our Woodland Park location.

This is an excellent opportunity for a surgeon who is committed to delivering exceptional musculoskeletal care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and serving a diverse patient population across Bergen County and surrounding communities.

About the Opportunity: 

  • Team of 11 Surgeons, 7 Physician Assistants, 1 Physical Therapist, 1 Occupational Therapist.

What your day will look like

  • Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Perform orthopedic surgical procedures within your subspecialty and scope of training.
  • Conduct pre-operative and post-operative patient consultations.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory tests such as X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans, including surgical and non-surgical options.
  • Counsel patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, surgical expectations, and recovery timelines.
  • Collaborate with physical therapists, physician assistants, nurses, radiologists, and primary care providers to coordinate patient care.
  • Participate in On-Call Coverage as assigned for orthopedic emergencies and trauma cases.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and timely documentation in Epic to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and best-practice development.

Qualifications:

  • MD degree from an accredited institution
  • Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency program
  • Fellowship training in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Active or eligible for New Jersey Medical License
  • DEA & NJ CDS registration
  • AHA or American Red Cross BLS & ACLS certification
  • Strong surgical skills and clinical judgment
  • Experience in a community-based or hospital-based orthopedic practice preferred

Englewood Health offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, comprehensive benefits package, and other incentive programs for our employees. The salary shown reflects the minimum compensation; actual compensation considers specialty, relevant experience and training.

Minimum compensation: $309,920.00 annually
