Vascular Surgeon – Sinai Medical Group | Chicago, IL

Position Overview

Sinai Medical Group is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Vascular Surgeon to join our growing surgical services team in Chicago. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a mission-driven, community-focused health system while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate will be committed to clinical excellence, collaboration, and advancing vascular care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive vascular surgical care, including open and endovascular procedures
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with vascular conditions across inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Participate in on-call coverage and hospital-based services
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., podiatry, cardiology, interventional radiology, wound care, primary care)
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical program development
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
  • Support teaching and mentorship opportunities, if applicable

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Completed residency in General Surgery and fellowship in Vascular Surgery
  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Vascular Surgery
  • Eligible for or currently holding an Illinois medical license
  • Strong clinical, surgical, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to delivering equitable, patient-centered care

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with both open and endovascular techniques
  • Interest in program development and expanding vascular services
  • Experience working in a community-based or academic-affiliated health system
