The Department of Urology at the University of Miami Miller School Of Medicine is seeking applicants for a Clinical Urologist (Staff Physician) for our DSMC, Lennar, and new SoLeMia location.
Essential Job Functions:
- Primarily in an outpatient clinic environment
- May include responsibility for coverage of some outpatient procedures in an ambulatory setting
- Perform clinical activity through the University of Miami Clinical Group (UMMG) clinical practice plan including surgical activity at University of Miami Hospital and Clinics and/or other affiliated hospitals
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system is preferred
- Effective communication, sound customer service skills and prompt responsiveness are essential in this role
- Compassion, teamwork, adaptability, and high levels of professionalism are required
Desired Job Qualifications:
- MD /DO from an accredited medical school or foreign equivalent
- Urology Residency
- Licensed or eligible to obtain a Florida license
- Board-certified or Board-eligible in Urology
