The Pediatric Teaching Program at Cone Health, a university-affiliated community teaching hospital in Greensboro, NC, is seeking a BC/BE Pediatrician or Med-Peds physician to join our faculty team. Our program is affiliated with the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill and offers a rewarding opportunity for physicians passionate about clinical education, mentorship, and patient care.

Position Highlights

• Join a faculty team of 10 dedicated physician-educators
• Teach Pediatric and Family Medicine residents, medical students, and Hospital Medicine fellows
• Clinical responsibilities in:
  • Newborn Nursery
  • 18-bed Pediatric Inpatient Unit with 2,000+ annual admissions
  • Resident Acute Care Clinic
• No delivery attendance responsibilities
• Shared call schedule (approximately 1 in 7 nights)
• Opportunities for didactic teaching, resident mentorship, quality improvement, and scholarly activities
• Faculty appointment available through the UNC School of Medicine at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level

Exceptional Clinical Support

• 45-bed NICU staffed by in-house Neonatologists
• 4-bed PICU with dedicated Pediatric Intensivists
• Comprehensive Pediatric Subspecialty Support
• Nurse Practitioner support in both the Newborn Nursery and Pediatric Inpatient Service
• Home site of the UNC Pediatric Primary Care Residency Program
