Rome Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hospitalist or Nocturnist to join our close-knit, community-focused medical team in Rome, NY. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, high-quality inpatient care to adult patients
  • Manage admissions, discharges, and daily patient care with an emphasis on continuity and communication
  • Collaborate closely with nursing, case management, emergency medicine, and specialty services
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, clinical standards, and best practices
  • For nocturnists: provide overnight admissions and cross-coverage with appropriate backup and support

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Eligible for New York State medical licensure
  • Commitment to community-based care and patient-centered medicine
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • New graduates and experienced physicians welcome
