Winnebago Comprehensive Healthcare System (WCHS) is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our mission-driven Tribal healthcare organization in Winnebago, Nebraska. As part of a collaborative healthcare system, physicians have access to a multidisciplinary team, specialty support, and a full-service hospital campus, allowing providers to focus on delivering exceptional patient care.

Position Highlights

• Full-time employed position
• Outpatient-only practice
• Competitive base salary: $300,000 - $336,960
• Negotiable sign-on bonus
• 1-year contract with automatic renewal
• No APP supervision required
• Approximately 500-1,000 patient panel
• In-office procedures encouraged
• Meditech Expanse EMR

Practice Environment

• Join a collaborative healthcare team serving the Winnebago community
• Work alongside experienced providers and six APPs
• Access to specialty support including:
  • Dermatology
  • Urology
  • Nephrology
  • Podiatry
• Clinic located within a full-service healthcare facility featuring:
  • Laboratory services
  • Radiology
  • Pharmacy
  • Specialty care access

Schedule & Call

• Flexible provider scheduling model
• Clinic hours:
  • Monday-Thursday: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Calls routed through nursing triage
• No routine weekend clinic responsibilities
• After-hours patient calls directed to the Emergency Department

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary of $300,000 - $336,960
• Negotiable sign-on bonus
• Full benefits package

• Approximately $5,000 annual CME allowance
• License and DEA reimbursement
• Federal Tort malpractice coverage
• Student loan repayment eligibility through:
  • Indian Health Service (IHS)

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
• Eligible for medical licensure in Nebraska
• Commitment to providing patient-centered primary care
• Interest in serving rural and underserved populations
