Hospital employed cardiac anesthesia opening in Palm Beach
Tenet Health is seeking a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join our expanding, high-volume cardiovascular program. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative, hospital-employed model with access to advanced cardiac surgical case mix and a strong multidisciplinary team.
Practice Details
- Dedicated cardiac anesthesia practice
- Case mix includes:
- CABG, valve repairs/replacements
- Structural heart procedures (TAVR, MitraClip)
- Thoracic aortic surgery
- Mechanical circulatory support (LVAD, ECMO)
- Participation in general OR cases optional or limited, depending on candidate preference
- Advanced monitoring and perioperative care:
- Intraoperative TEE (required)
- Hemodynamic optimization & critical care involvement
- Collaborative team of:
- Cardiac surgeons
- Interventional cardiologists
- Intensivists and perfusionists
Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Completed Anesthesiology residency
- Completion of Cardiac Anesthesia fellowship
- Board Certified / Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Advanced Perioperative TEE certification (or eligible)
- Eligible for medical licensure in FL
