What You’ll Do:

• Provide hospital-based interventional radiology procedures, including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsies, thrombolysis, and uterine fibroid embolization (UFE)
• Support additional orthopedics, gynecology, and urology procedures as needed
• Collaborate with an experienced team of 3 physicians and 2 APPs in a Level I trauma facility
• Manage patient care with a focus on adult/geriatric populations
• Participate in Q3 call coverage (every third weekday and weekend)
• Document procedures efficiently using the facility’s EMR system

What You Need:

• MD degree, licensed to practice in Michigan
• Board-Certified in Radiology
• 2+ years of interventional radiology experience preferred
• Ability to perform advanced IR procedures with professionalism and attention to detail

About the Assignment:
This locum position is based at UMH Sparrow Lansing Main Hospital, a trusted Level I trauma center serving the Lansing community. The team supports a busy IR service line with a collaborative atmosphere and committed staff. Lodging is provided on campus if needed, with mileage reimbursed at IRS standards. Credentialing typically takes around 90 days, with fast-tracking options available.
