The Permanente Medical Group is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Total Joint/Adult Reconstructive surgeon to join our collegial and well-established team in San Leandro, CA. Position Highlights

1. Team Composition: 12 surgeons (6 Total Joint, 3 Sports, 2 Hand, 1 Trauma)
2. Collaborative Model: Work closely with 14 experienced Physician Assistants
3. Surgical Focus: Orthopedic Total Joint practice
4. OR Time: 2+ days per week
5. Call Schedule: 1 call every 12 days (Level 2/3 community trauma) for San Leandro and Fremont.                                                                    Occasional day call in Fremont but main location is San Leandro

Full-time annual salary range is $640,200 to $660,000 plus additional potential incentives up to $83,270*. Salary range listed is based on a full-time schedule. Reduced schedules with pro-rated compensation may be available. *Some incentive opportunities are estimates based on potential premium pay.

Requirements:

• Board Certification or Eligibility
• Must be eligible to obtain a CA medical license or be currently licensed to practice within CA

The San Leandro medical facility is one of Kaiser Permanente’s newest facilities, and a beautiful addition to Kaiser Permanente’s Greater Southern Alameda Area (GSAA).  The GSAA is comprised of the San Leandro Medical Center and Medical Offices, Hayward Sleepy Hollow Medical Offices, the Union City Medical Offices, and the Fremont Medical Center.  The San Leandro Medical Center and Medical Offices offer appealing indoor and outdoor spaces and an advanced clinical information infrastructure throughout.
