Non-Invasive Cardiologist - Charlottesville, VA

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital (SMJH) is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our collaborative, patient-focused cardiovascular program serving Charlottesville, VA. This role offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient cardiology with strong team support and a sustainable call schedule.

Position Highlights:

• Required Procedures: Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) imaging, EKG, Echo, Nuclear Stress Testing
• Mix of outpatient and inpatient duties
• Clinic Volume is variable with provider input; 15 min follow-ups/30 min new patient visits
• Call Schedule: 1:8 rotation
• Leverage advanced AI tools like Cleerly and DASI to enhance cardiac diagnostics and decision-making, while DAX Copilot streamlines inpatient and outpatient charting helping clinicians work smarter, faster, and more accurately

Requirements:

• BC/BE in Cardiovascular Medicine
• Experience with Nuclear Stress Testing
• Experience with NIV and echocardiography

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $494,915.20 - $616,532.80 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
