Physician - Medical Oncologist

ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) is seeking a Medical Oncologist to join our Hematology Oncology team primarily supporting Monroe, MI.

  • Practice with team of 8 Board Certified, motivated hematologist-oncologists, certified nurses & technologists in a supportive and collegial work environment  

  • Large referral base encompassing 27-counties throughout northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan 

  • Full range of consultative, inpatient and outpatient hematology and oncology services. Participation in industry sponsored and local community CCOP co-operative group clinical trials through NSABP, NCCTG and CALGB 

  • Full range of multi-specialty physician support 

  • Equally shared call volume among physicians allowing you to be busy from day one, with very little ramp-up time

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution in the applicable specialty.

  • Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.

  • Board certified or board eligible in Hematology Oncology.

  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) certification(s) applicable to your role (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.).

  • Commitment to ongoing continuing medical education (CME) and professional development.
