New England Retina Associates, part of ReFocus Eye Health, is seeking a fellowship-trained, BC/BE Vitreoretinal (Retina) Surgeon to meet strong, growing patient demand across our Connecticut practices, with flexible full-time, part-time, or per diem options and exceptional, highly negotiable compensation.

Position Highlights

• 2 openings across four Connecticut locations: Hamden, Trumbull, Westport, and Old Greenwich
• Flexible schedule: full-time, part-time, or per diem, with fast-track hiring and an immediate start preferred
• Busy, established practice of retina specialists 
• Teaching and research opportunities at Yale University, plus an on-site retina fellowship
• Shared call across the group (weekends handled through a triage line)
• Path to equity available
• Nextech EMR · clinic hours 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Position Benefits

• Base of $500,000–$900,000 — very flexible — on a net-collections production model
• Sign-on bonus up to $100,000 and relocation assistance
• License and DEA reimbursement; fellowship stipend available
• CME: 6 days plus $3,400 annually
• ~20 days of PTO plus 6 holidays
• Full employer-paid benefits (for 30+ hours/week) and a retirement plan
• Malpractice and tail coverage fully provided

Requirements

• MD or DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Completed Retina (vitreoretinal) fellowship
• Eligible for Connecticut medical licensure
• CV required
