Mackinac Straits Health System is seeking a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Urologist to join an established, active practice at our 15-bed critical access hospital and modern St. Ignace Medical Clinic in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

Position Highlights

  • Established urology practice within a collaborative hospital clinic alongside Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Oncology, and other specialists.
  • Balanced mix of outpatient clinic, inpatient consults, and dedicated operating-room surgical days.
  • DaVinci robotic, laparoscopic, and open surgery — kidney, bladder, prostate, and minimally invasive procedures.
  • Manageable volume averaging 18–20 patients per day.
  • Dedicated clinic staff, 1:1 medical assistant support, and structured administrative time for charting.
  • EPIC electronic health record integrated across the MyMichigan Health network.
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM, with a flexible, family-friendly work environment.
