Catholic Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Physiatrist to join its established rehabilitation program at St. Charles Hospital in beautiful Port Jefferson, New York. This is an outstanding opportunity to become part of one of Long Island's premier nonprofit health systems while providing comprehensive rehabilitation care to pediatric patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.

• Balanced 50% inpatient / 50% outpatient practice
• Work alongside pediatric orthopedics, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and multiple pediatric subspecialists in a highly collaborative rehabilitation program.

• One Pediatric Physiatrist currently in practice
• Robust Advanced Practice Provider support throughout the health system
• Replacement opportunity with an established patient population
• Care for children with cerebral palsy, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, spinal cord injuries, autism, gait disorders, orthopedic rehabilitation, sports injuries, and other pediatric rehabilitation conditions.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting salary of $259,000+
• wRVU productivity incentive
• Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)
• $10,000 relocation assistance

Candidate Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
• Completion of an accredited Pediatric Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation fellowship
• Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in New York
• Spanish language skills are welcomed but not required
• Visa sponsorship is not available
