Job Summary:
HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville, Florida, is seeking a Neurohospitalist to join its established and growing neuroscience program.
Qualified Candidates:
- Board eligible or board certified in Neurology
- Prior experience preferred, but not required
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including neurologists, neurosurgeons, neurointerventionalists, advanced practice providers (APPs), and intensivists across both HCA Florida North Florida Hospital—a high-performing Comprehensive Stroke Center—and HCA Florida Gainesville Hospital
- Dedicated in-house hospital support with an APP team
- APPs assist with stroke and interventional radiology coverage, as well as follow-up care in the stroke clinic
- Remote access to EMR and imaging systems from home, office, or hospital
- Schedule of 7 days on / 7 days off
- Opportunity for program expansion through teleconsult services
