Radiation Oncologist Opportunity in Lawrence, KS

Our Team

You’ll practice at a Commission on Cancer-Accredited and National Accreditation for Breast Centers accredited LMH Health Cancer Center, working alongside:

• Five medical oncologists
• One radiation oncologist
• One experienced Advanced Practice Provider
• A team dedicated to collaboration and support
  • Dedicated social workers and dietician for the cancer center
  • Dedicated nurse navigators including a research clinical trial nurse navigator
  • Experienced palliative care providers, physical therapists, and other support programs
  • Highly trained surgeons including a breast fellowship trained surgeon

Scope of Practice

This role offers a balanced and professionally fulfilling mix of outpatient and inpatient care including:

• Outpatient consultation and established visits
• Inpatient consultative service
• Emergency department consultation.
• Treatment in the cancer center
• Weekly tumor conference on Mondays at 5pm
• Call is shared with other radiation oncologist
